DIY Cough Syrup With Onion And Honey

You need:
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • ½ cup honey
Method:
Put the onions in glass pot or steel. Add honey to cover this. Simmer this on low heat and honey will become watery. Simmer 20 min and turn off heat. Strain onions and keep honey in glass jar in the fridge.

Notes:
This is safely used when you need it. 1 tsp for young kid. 1 tbsp for 10 or older. Make a fresh batch every other day.

  • Onion – removes inflammation, is antibiotic and expectorant. Loosens mucus.
